Sonam Kapoor Mourns Neerja Bhanot's Mother's Demise

Neerja Bhanot's mother Rama Bhanot passed away at her Chandigarh residence on December 5.
Sonam Kapoor, who plays the braveheart Pan Am airhostess in the biopic Neerja, posted a heartfelt message on her social networking page.
The actress had met Neerja's mother at her residence last year, a few weeks before starting the shoot of the film. The Atul Kasbekar-produced film revolves around the airhostess who died, trying to save the lives of passengers aboard Pan Am flight 73, on September 5, 1986.
Rama's last wish was that her body be donated for medical research instead of being cremated. Her son and Neerja's elder brother Aneesh has already fulfilled her wish by donating her body to a medical research centre in Chandigarh.
